Alberta.Contractors exists for one kind of client: a contracting business working in Alberta that wants more of the right work and the right people. We plan and run marketing for those firms and advise their owners on positioning and growth. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor. We don't install, repair, service or build anything, and we will never bid against a client.
The company
Alberta.Contractors is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It is a Canadian business, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and serves contractors across Alberta.
Two companies sit at the top of the group:
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's own consulting company for growth, marketing and technology, and the umbrella for brands such as HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency (whose plans Alberta contractors buy), BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
- SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is a Canadian firm advising on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration. Its Founder & Managing Partner is Ali Sedighi, and its strategic direction comes from Sedighi.ca, which is how strategy thinking reaches a plan for a Red Deer or Grande Prairie contractor.
Alberta.Contractors works alongside Trades.Agency, the group's agency brand for trades and home-service businesses, which sets the plans and pricing you'll find on our pricing page.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads Alberta.Contractors. His degree is an MBA in Technology Management. His marketing career runs 17+ years, back to 2007, the year he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He is also the founder of Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and MyAutomation.ca, and Founder & Managing Partner of SAZ.ca. He has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
Much of his recent work has been in HVAC and heating, where he has built 150+ live HVAC websites. That portfolio includes CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, RomaHeating.ca, CanroHeat.ca, HeatLand.ca, BCWide.ca, HVACDeal.ca and AlbertaHeating.ca. Those businesses taught the method this site uses for every trade: build a page for each job worth selling, track every call, ask for reviews honestly, and report in jobs and dollars. The results page shows what that method produced, presented as results from our HVAC work.
How we work with Alberta contractors
We start with your numbers, not with a package. Before recommending anything, we want to know:
- Who pays your invoices: homeowners, GCs and property managers, or industrial operators, and in what proportion.
- Your average job or contract value, gross margin and close rate.
- Where your trucks and crews actually go, and how far you'll travel.
- Whether you're limited by demand or by people.
From there we propose a plan with costs in writing, explain how each piece will be measured, and agree on a monthly report. Ownership of your website, domain, ad accounts, Google Business Profile and data is spelled out in your written proposal, and our advice to every owner is to keep those assets registered in the company's own name.
We meet Alberta clients by video call or in person, and the day-to-day work runs by phone, text and email.
What we won't do
Being clear about limits saves everyone time.
- No guarantees of rankings, leads or contracts. We show you the maths and report honestly.
- No invented claims. We won't publish certifications, safety ratings, awards or reviews you don't have.
- No compliance advice. We link regulators such as Alberta's safety codes system and WCB-Alberta; your own advisers handle compliance.
- No estimating or safety-program writing. Your prices and your safety system stay yours.
- No selling your leads to anyone else.
Why a separate brand for Alberta
Alberta contracting has its own vocabulary and its own buyers. Shutdown season, rotations, vendor portals, chinook weeks and the Heartland don't come up much in a Toronto or Victoria marketing plan. A separate brand lets every page, guide and proposal speak to that reality instead of translating national advice. The strategy, reporting standards and pricing still come from the wider group, so you get Alberta-specific thinking without a boutique price tag or a one-person shop's limits.
Where to go next
The services overview explains the five services and how they combine. The areas page covers each Alberta region. The guides are free to read whether or not you ever call. When you're ready, the contact page explains how to reach a senior strategist by call, text or email.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns Alberta.Contractors?
The brand sits inside the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. That Canadian group is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it, including the Alberta contractor work.
Why is an Alberta contractor brand run from Vancouver?
Because the work runs on photos and data from your business, with consultations by video call or in person, as well as by phone, text and email. What matters is understanding Alberta's buyers and seasons, which every plan is built around.
Do you subcontract our marketing to another agency?
Your plan is led by a senior strategist in the group, working with Trades.Agency, the group's agency brand for the trades. Who does what on your account is set out in writing in your proposal.
Do you do any construction or trade work?
No. We are not a contractor. We don't install, repair, service or build anything, and we never compete with clients for work.
