Talk to a senior strategist about your Alberta contracting business

Call, text or email. You'll reach a senior strategist, not a call centre. We usually reply within one business day, Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific.

You can reach Alberta.Contractors three ways: call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, which is 10 to 7 Mountain time. We usually reply within one business day. There are no forms to fill out and no booking calendars; a real person reads every message.

Three ways to reach us

Call

Call (604) 632-4959 if you'd rather talk it through. If we're on another call, leave a short message with your name, business and town, and we'll call back.

Text

Text (604) 632-4959. This is often the easiest option from a truck or a job site. A short text with the basics is enough to start.

Email

Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Email works best if you want to attach documents such as a capability statement, a list of recent projects or a current marketing report.

What to include in your first message

A first message with a few facts in it lets us skip the small talk and get to your Alberta market on the first call. You don't need all of this, but each item helps.

  • Business name and website, if you have one.
  • Where you're based and where you work, for example "based in Leduc, working Edmonton region and the Heartland".
  • Who your customers are: homeowners, GCs and property managers, industrial operators, or a mix.
  • What you'd like more of: a service, a type of client, a region, or more applicants for a role.
  • What you've tried, such as an agency, ads, a website rebuild or job boards, and how it went.
  • Rough numbers if you're comfortable sharing: average job value, number of trucks or crews, and how busy you are now.

A template you can copy for a text or email:

Business name: [Business name] Based in: [Town or city] We work for: [homeowners / GCs and property managers / industrial operators] We'd like more: [service, client type, region or hires] Website: [web address] Best time to reach me: [day and time]

What happens next

  1. We reply. Usually within one business day, by whichever channel you used, to set up a 30-minute call.
  2. We talk it through. On the free consultation we ask about your buyers, numbers, service area and constraints, and tell you honestly whether we think we can help.
  3. You get a written proposal. If it's a fit, we send a plan with costs, timelines, how results will be measured and what's included, so you can decide without pressure.

Nothing starts until you've agreed to the proposal in writing.

Before you get in touch

If you want to get a feel for how we think first, these pages are a good start:

  • The services overview explains which service suits which type of contractor.
  • The pricing page shows the plans and what drives cost.
  • The FAQ answers questions about contracts, ownership and reporting.
  • The areas page covers each Alberta region.

If you're already working with another agency

That's fine. Many contractors contact us while a current agreement is still running, usually because they want a second opinion on results. Send us your most recent report if you have one, along with how much you spend each month and on what. We'll tell you honestly whether the work looks sound, what we'd change and whether a switch makes sense at all. Sometimes the right answer is to stay put and ask your current agency better questions, and we'll say so.

If you do decide to move, we'll ask for access to your website, ad accounts and Google Business Profile so nothing is lost in the handover. Keep those logins in the company's name wherever you can.

A note on what we do

Alberta.Contractors is a marketing and business consulting service. Nobody here holds a tool belt: we never install, repair, service or build, because we aren't a contractor. If you're a homeowner or a business looking for someone to do contracting work, we're not the right call, and we don't refer jobs. We work for the contracting firms themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses and doesn't commit you to anything.

Can we text instead of calling?

Yes. Text (604) 632-4959 with your business name, town and what you need. Many contractors prefer it because they can send it from a job site.

What time zone are your hours in?

Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, which is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Alberta. Messages sent outside those hours are answered on the next business day.

Do you meet in person?

Yes. Consultations are offered in person or by video call, as well as by phone, text and email.
